The Designer

Lisa Belden, the owner and designer of Cuttlefish, was working in TV production when she started her career as a jeweler. She found it hard to find original, even uniqe pieces of jewelry, so she began creating her own. In the office, while travelling, and on sets, people began to ask about her pieces, which led to many custom orders, and eventually to where it is now. Lisa proudly produces only one-of-a-kind pieces while still maintaining a style that compliments today's fashions.

Cuttlefish jewelry is meticulously made by Lisa. Only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship are used. These items include a variety of semi-precious stones, gems, crystals, wood and glass beads. She also constantly searches for original and/or vintage materials to include, making items even more rare and unique. Hopefully you will find Cuttlefish to be an exciting, colorful array of unique, classy, handcrafted jewelry that intermingles the playful looks of today with the timeless styles of the past.

Cuttlefish has also launched a new kind of design, called Cuttlewood Jewelry. Cuttlewood are wooden pendants decorated with paint and paper - each side with a different pattern. These pieces can be worn as earrings or as pendants - and are sold in sets of 2 pendants, 2 earring hooks and a ribbon.
